FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?
I’ve been doing this for 3 years and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED? CAN COUPLES TRAVEL TO YOU FOR SHOOTS?
I am based out of Santa Rosa, California. I have had couples come from surrounding states and cities to make a little trip out of their shoot. Sonoma County has tons of stunning landscapes, mountains, and beaches that I know very well since this is where I was born and raised. If you want ideas for places in Sonoma County to explore—shoot me a message above!
WHAT SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER + HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU INCLUDE?
It definitely varies! Not to worry though, I don’t really believe in keeping any of the images from you or providing a cutoff number—these are your moments we capture together. You will get anything and everything that meets my standards.
DO YOU PROVIDE THE UNEDITED IMAGES?
I do not. I believe that editing is half the magic that goes into images and without this huge step the images are only halfway done. I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed delivering a photo, just ask! I’m more than happy to check back through my images and send it over to you. I won’t let you miss out on your memories!
WILL WE GET SNEAK PEEKS?
Yes! Sometimes I will surprise and send sneak peeks — if I can, I try to do so within 72 hours.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Typically for couples + portrait sessions it takes 2 weeks or less and weddings take 5 weeks or less. I try to get them back to you as soon as possible while making sure I spend the right amount of time perfecting the images!
CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP US?
I don’t alter the way you look other than anything temporary that wouldn’t normally be there (bruise, scrape, acne etc. unless you’d like me to keep it). If you’re extra conscious about something, please let me know and I’ll be aware of it when posing you.
WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR PHOTOS?
Don’t worry—I’ve got a guide with tips on what to wear (for the whole fam) that I’ll send you once we get something set up!
WE’RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA—HELP!
Most people say they feel awkward in front of the camera, even those you’d least expect! A huge part of my approach is to make you comfortable by allowing you to be your true selves, and giving gentle direction and cues when needed. I will create trust between us and let your personality come through. Don’t worry! You just need to be fully present and trust me— remember why you are there, why you hired me, and the rest will fall into place, I promise.
WHAT IF THERE’S BAD WEATHER?
I always encourage embracing whatever weather comes our way, as it’s beautiful and unique in photos. If it is harsh enough that it would make for a bad time at our shoot, we can totally reschedule!
